About Me
I have had varied interests throughout my life but I tend to concentrate on something for a while and then move on to something different. Seems good for creativity but not so good for execution. My knowledge becomes dated and incomplete. Excellent examples: I used to hack on a UNIX based system and write games for C64 and Icon (C language) - value today ZIP.
I like to drive fast but of course these days that can be expensive (esp. on the street). Already almost had my car taken, lucky for me I finally had a cop knock down a ticket. I've raced on an oval and in a smash up derby.
I used to be into RC models (cars and planes) and have had the idea for a while now to integrate autocombat into this. Seems like it's pretty viable now. Electric motors, batteries, and controllers these days are AWESOME. Laser pointers and receivers which pulse at various frequencies allow for unlimited weapon types and effects which would feed into controllers and servos (steering, brakes, special effects servos). Mines and fire would even be possible. A small camera connected via wireless could be displayed on your monitor and/or you could just play by observing all the action from afar. Events could be arranged at any of the indoor and outdoor RC tracks that already exist.

'73 charger with a nosecone and wing (superbird style). 4wd, 4 wheel disc, and 4 wheel independent suspension via two FWD V6 (SC or TC approx 350 HP) drivetrains, one in front one in back with independent throttle control. One day maybe. Maybe just another pipe dream.
