Are we supposed to get gunned down through the windshield without our cars blowing up? I would think not, but when I ask about this kinda stuff I get shrugged off, so I thought I'd post the question.
I also don't like the idea of the windows on the sides being open, because then killing everyone inside is all too easy. But I could live with that, if I had a bullet proof windshield. I mean come on, we have machine guns on our cars, bullet proof glass is a no brainer.

I also would NOT like to have it bulletproof, if new cars come they can POSSIBLY be bulletproof, but then they must be SLOW.

I'm just talking about the windshield here, I know you won't budge on the side windows, so I'm not saying all glass should be bulletproof, but at least the windshield. Killing is just way too easy with it the way it is.

hmm, I dont find it that easy, but thats probably MY aiming skillzorz

dont forget the bots doesnt respond to when you fire at them, maybe thats why you find it 1 shot kills after 10 bullets infront of that 1 killing bullet

If I fired a 50 cal bullet and hit a guy in the head, he'd die too,


Other then that, maybe we can decrease the damage caused, through the windows by lets say, 30 %? so you dont die as FAST(tho you SHALL die so I get higher ranking).

To me, it just doesn't make sense to have machine guns on top of your car and not use bulletproof windshields. Interstate 76 had bulletproof windshields, heck all the windows were bullet proof, UNLESS you shot someone w/the handgun through the side. Since we can't do that, leave the side windows the way they are and bulletproof the other windows, so it's MORE like i76. My brother and I were playing last night and he doesn't like the "through the glass" kills either. I think since this is a car combat game, we should be blowing eachothers cars up, not capping the drivers through the glass. I think it'd make it more fun and engaging, since killing someone would actually take some skill and not be instant gratification like it is now.

Bulletproof glass is really a little missleading as it should be called bullet resistant. If you keep pouring fire on the same spot it will eventually weaken.

Thats A Good Point That Have Here UpStart But Thinking Also About The Windows....Would It Be Possible To Get The Passenger To Shoot Tru The Windows it would give a back feed from ppl that try to shoot down the driver KNOW WHAT I MEAN

I have to agree with Phatty and say the windshield should be bulletproof. Easy kills get boring plus this way if you want to go after the driver you need to go for the side. This would still be an easy kill but require a sneak attack or some good driving. What y'all think?

Yeah this decision was made a long time ago. Bullet proof windshields are in and we no longer have open side windows either.

Yea They Are Bullet Proof but.... for some reason drivers still got kill by missiles before the car explode.............:S

Maybe whindshields can be bullet proof and not... In I76 some parts of the car are "destroyable" if windshield damaged no longer bulletproof.
But I'm sure that it is not ok for bf2.
