We got a racing helmet, what more can we equip the soldiers with? I can put in most of what you tell me to do.

K-mouse suggested sunglasses aswell, I can put that on another kit, no prob, need the glasses though ;).

I will make custom kits so feel free to suggest kits for us aswell, along with names, maybe your name appears in the credits?

yeah the driver should drop a helmet i think and maby.. some car keys?

Sounds ok for me. Maybe rename Driver to something else aswell because they can all drive anyways.

I think every driver should have a wrench..
Co-driver could have a super-wrench or something, and maybe a gun.

Ya, maybe a uhm, not a super wrench, but a gun instead. The reason for this is if he gets both things, everyone will just choose the class co-driver.

But, usually I thought the co-driver was the mechanic? :S

I think the two teams should be once again Kingpin and Vigilante

I think when players enter a car, the helmets will go on, like when you enter a jet in vanilla bf2, you get a helmet

the glasses should come back too ;)

There are already helmets, regarding the glasses I wont say untill any official news announcement.

As for if the helmets are there both for the racing and autocombat, i am not sure. if you participate in autocombat, maybe a different helmet or some kind of hat... :-S

I think there should be a pit crew kit, with an open helmet, fire proof jacket or something, and has a wheel gun that they used to put tyres on that could fix cars, or a blowtorch.
As for normal people with sunglasses they could have a belt with a mobile phone on like the new-ish terrorist model on CSS.
I think the driver should have a proper full helmet with visor, and maybe a neckbrase i noticed they wear neck brases alot more in racing now.

hey,here is an idea,if you select pilot,the glases cod be exempel blue,end when you get in the plane,the visor of you`re helmet turns blue,connect with the hole blue theme,ore red or green or anny coller you chose,exp. driver:green
pilot:blue
co-pilot:darke blue(pilot them) or perhaps green and so on

Well, for balance issues I would think of in the realm some what of what BF2 already offer's. Now as far as iteams to place in kits. Thats a diffrent story. We are talking limitless. Depends how intricate you want to get. Heck seeing as tho axis would be low funded soo forth you could go the route of have tool bags, nail guns, saw off shotguns, potato guns, hunting riffle and the allied being professionals having MP5's, Tear Gas, Glock's you get what I'm saying ;)

Hello eveyone,when I saw this site I was unable to NOT join.My first introduction to 3d multiplayer was Interstate 76 and now i find my BF2 has THIS mod about to happen....well As Taurus would say,'Oohhhyeahhh.'
If you tell me your planning to seperate armour damage into front/back/left/right/roof just like I/76 and Stever Jacksons Car Wars I belive I will explode.

You need to think 70`s pimp rather than 90`s sensible shoes variety kits.With the right loading music,and some tunes in car,you could cruise with a grin on your dial,instead of the constant fear of the camo beige BF vanilla.
You need your guys(and maybe a gal or two),dressed for a days autocombat racing and a night at the pink pussy cat club.

The only visible body armour should be thick leather jackets and denim jeans.
Id like to see kits stick with the car wars three character classes as its a good balance for autocombat.
(Could we perhaps have 3 or 4 of each class for a varied appearence?)

:Driver:Desert Eagle/Katana(for one hit kills with at least a two foot reach)and THATS IT,hes supposed to drive,so any kills on foot with the driver should be pure show off stuff.
Outfits--Purple pimp suit (like Taurus),.Red and white Penske style racing overalls,.Black/White Stig suit,Jeans and a Tshirt,CJ/Tommy Vercetti clones,Jackie Brown style, cool as a cucumber woman driver--
(Since this limits the actions of the driver class,you would need some in car benifit of the class such as extra speed or handling and i dont know if thats possible)

:Gunner:Bowie knife/Twin SMGs/AV Rifle/ammo/first aid(No revive.)Hes the gunner,he gets the guns to cover the mechanic if you have to for some sick reason leave the car.
Outfits--Mad Max style leathers,Wornout camoflage overalls(with a Bright red T shirt),Goggle eyed WW2 stlye helmet and bomber jacket

:Mechanic:SMG/Katana(cause who dosnt love a Katana?)/wrench/C4(theres no good reason NOT to have C4)
Outfits--Skeeter(from Dukes of hazard,and the similar blue bibed overalled feall in I76),Bald sweaty guy in a white singlet showing a butt crack.) A sassy young girl mechanic (Jades Sister?)--

(Snipers I think should be nerfed to death for I76 to convince them that cars are death incarnate.As for AT class rockets,these should not be for pedestrians except as one shot disposables.)
With this limited choise of just three kits,you could then work on squads of three and cars with three active weapon slots(like a rear facing mech seat for perfect mine placement)
I didnt give mines to anyone as mines should be dropped from the car instead of by pedestrians.

Ok,so thats my wish list,so,i'll just leave it there,...and ...i guess.i guess i'll be going now,..lemmeknowwhenyourdone,thanksbye

like the visigothic proposition,
balances out every class a little bit,
maybe change the AT and/or sniper class to simple civilians and policemen (with a baton).
That way you can do sum RPG like there was sumtimes on IS82 servers, only someone would start shooting and mess up the whole RPG thing.

This probably isn't an option anymore, but I liked it how you just choose your colour glasses and have to go to a gunshop etc to get the guns .. that way you have to fight for the guns.

*raises hand* I've never liked those overgrown knives that are computer game katanas.

How about a slightly more modern feel though? I'm not suggesting you replace the Mustangs with Fiats Pandas but how about giving the character models some white iPod headphones and the mechanics laptops instead of wrenches? (The laptops could also be used as blunt instruments to replace the knives).

The race classes could all have different laptops, apple-style, sony-style, colourful, clunky etc.

I love the idea of dual-SMGs though. Maybe some other bond-like stuff would work too.
