I don't know if it'd lag or what-not, or if it's even possible, but when you drive around on dirt or grass, you know, landscape, the car gets dirty and such, and have it dynamic so it accumalates after a while, on the windshield etc... I just think it'd be pretty cool, especially when your on the field a long time with no deaths, your car's dirtiness would show off how well you are doing, as well as make it more difficult to see when in cockpit view... Basically it makes it more difficult to survive as well as look better, but that's my opinion.

So tell me, is it even POSSIBLE on the BF2 engine to create dynamic effects for things like this?

To some very limited extend i think it's possible. But it wouldn't be worth all the workarounds and there would be unwanted side effects.
So I must say it's not possible in an reasonable way. Other engines support such stuff from scratch but not BF2.
