Quickly: Counter Strike feeling/ Chapters: Objective1, Objective2/
A survivor gm, where a chronometer is displayed (in the hand of your favorite char).
It's looks like during a Capture The Flag, when somebody has taken a flag: everybody get on him.
- Teams are balanced at 25:75%.
- Survivors got very few vehicules to flee (by spawn)
- They have got a forteress for spawning (only exit)
This idea got two headlines: quick party and action
- A forteress could be for example the creeper's gasstaion in deathvalley but with more walls (exit by taking ramps)
- Also we could use sneaky roads from deathrace/ airbase map, to delay teams' contact
- Gameplay like counter strike: everybody spawn in the same time, die, wait to the next turn.
Turns are phase of action: not only swping team
Example: Capture milktruck
- ESCAPE, reach a point (flag)/ take a vehicule (ex milktruck) then time displayed and end
- COME BACK with the vehicule or a kind trophy.
Kill Milktruck one inspired by milktruck scenario from i76...
- Kill milktruck (survivor team)
- Reach flee point
Exactly the same but 1 condition: truck loses hp (oil leak) with time(or distance)but could be repaired slowly only if some cars stay close to it (so the milktruck's enemies are free/ could not be baseraped)
"Jade murder"revisited: vigilantes are survivors, creepers atttack but they got little ammo so teams are balanced.
So the interests (for players) are
- time of achievement (to compare to each others)
- quick play (thats force not to change map every 5 mins => why i have thought of "phases" or "chapters" of a global action)
- the noob could be in an easy team - no need to survive
- pro have their's score also they could success in tricky points (destroyable bridge to delay end, shortcuts...)
Problems:
a
- Need to autobalance professionnal-gamers beetween teams.
- Need to make conditions of avaible vehicules...
- Map? only do with released content: Airbase modified map seems good.
- Chapters? is it possible to move spawnpoint without changing map? Maybe by team swaping?
So conditions:
- on ammo
- avaible vehicule at spawn (by teams)
- Players chose their character (truck, guards, Jade, Taurus...) with classement, then randomly.
NB or may we could do some videos with theses scenari?
