The best way to get more fans is to GET THE MOD FINISHED and get a version to the public. Anything else is just teasing.

I have got an idea for a site a very big one: GAME TRACKER
I spent many time on forums if you tell me what to say i could do it (and translate). Or I could do it by my own, accordind to lastest news
If I do I will give you account codes. You tell me what to do. I post in english (please correct) and in french.
I could do weekly.
Mod Sites (fr):

Telecharger.com ---------
abandonwares.fr [where you can get Is76]
BF2games.net (german) >can't do
So when the mod could be released people would know it.

I don't know how big the french community is but the german one (bf-games.net) still is one of the biggest and they get informed already as well as the biggest international community known to me (planetbattlefield.com) 
Informing the french sites would be useful.
Not sure what the gametracker thing is. Looked like a stats-addict site to me ^^

Dunno very well too but on some sites of old games download some people knows is 76 (whose I'm thinking)
Also Somua is a very big site I think

Game tracker list teams/ servers/ profiles (stats)/ games... it is useful for seeing if a servers has got players or not. ie for galatic conquest (bf42) there are 3 players a day no time to launch bf42 and wait
I've tried to make a team on it...will see if i got success!
A stat addict? I don't know i would tell you when I will be one.
By the way: the python coding seems awesome!
I will do it tomorrow...

We could make some footage of the game in coop mode to show a "little" of the mod. I mean not showing all the cars or all the weapons, only showing from the pilot view, so the car cannot be seen 
, like this we can make the viewers of the video to feel some curiosity with this mod.

The cars and weapons should all be known as they were featured in the news updates

Yeah but I´m talking about people who does not know about the mod.
I can record videos but not at a maxed out resolution, maybe at medium graphics, because I dont have too much RAM, micro, not even a second hard disc drive, so it gets laggy.
P.S. CANT WAIT TO THIS SATURDAY
