I used to be into RC models (cars and planes) and have had the idea for a while now to integrate autocombat into this. Seems like it's pretty viable now. Electric motors, batteries, and controllers these days are AWESOME. Laser pointers and receivers which pulse at various frequencies allow for unlimited weapon types and effects which would feed into controllers and servos (steering, brakes, special effects servos). Mines and fire would even be possible. A small camera connected via wireless could be displayed on your monitor and/or you could just play by observing all the action from afar. Events could be arranged at any of the indoor and outdoor RC tracks that already exist.
Feel free to steal and share this idea and make lots of money (or just start a new craze) if you can.

'73 charger with a nosecone and wing (superbird style). 4wd, 4 wheel disc, and 4 wheel independent suspension via two FWD V6 (SC or TC approx 350 HP) drivetrains, one in front one in back with independent throttle control. One day maybe. Maybe just another pipe dream.

Nice, another RC-Cars enthusiast! There is a combat simulating system for Tamiya's big scale RC-Tanks. Works with infrared and got a 360deg receiver that can gather if a hit comes from the front side or back of the tank.
I need to find a way to attach my mobile on my car to record some drifts...

Sounds like this idea may all ready be on it's way to becoming reality. Also I realized after I posted that I more or less described Robot Wars
For recording drifts couldn't you get a wireless webcam and strap it on. That would weigh less and put your mobile is less jeopardy.
