I wanted to be at the test today but what do I have to download to make the mod work?

I'm not a coder or anything like that I just wanted to participate in the test today and needed to know were I can download the mod.

If I would be a tester i wouldn't either want to download any additional stuff to play the mod... And SVN access for each tester (i know there are currently not very much) doesn't make much sense for me.

i know. thats why i want http downloads. but i dont have the rights to create these.

Can't we set the testers up with 'read only' accounts for the SVN and have em just download isnitrodev?

Thats how testers accounts are setup. If you want to test, you have to use svn. Too many changes and fixes happen close to test time means we cant just wip out a new build everytime and spend 30 minutes uploading it. Once you download the main mod in svn, updates are smaller and faster.

ohh I see what it is it's an updater... so how would I get it using svn?

oh I see what do you have to do in a test? just try things out and find bugs?, two more questions, I want a general idea when the patch will be done, like will it be around a week from now or a month? and is there bot support for the maps?

Right now we're aware of most of the bugs. We're just trying to focus right now on balance, vehicle handling and general gameplay for the most part.

I have stopped giving dates on when the mod will be released. We only have a few people actually working on the mod, so progress is slow. But we are making progress. Bot support is not supported in the current build. It will be supported eventually, but we need solid maps first.

This is kinda off topic.... Bf2 wont work offline, it just crashes when I load an offline game. Online it works but not off, it's the same for all my mods too...

There's no reason to be sorry. Just read this thread, post an application in the recruitment section and then we can get you setup with the latest version of the mod to test with.
